Frequently Asked Questions

FAQ'S

HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR SHOOTING STYLE?

I photograph weddings with a reportage style, capturing natural unposed images of your wedding day and complementing these with beautifully posed photographs of yourselves, along with your wedding party and guests. My approach to photography is non-intrusive, which helps me to tell the true story of your special day, allowing you to enjoy yourselves and have fun! I like to capture all those little details and emotions that you can look back on for many years to come.

WHAT CAMERA DO YOU SHOOT WITH?

We currently shoot using four Nikon DSLR’s - A D750, and three D780’s. I have a range of lenses of various  focal lengths as well as a flash system for when needed.

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE DO WE NEED TO BOOK YOUR SERVICES?

I advise my clients to book their wedding photographer as soon as they confirm a wedding date. At this time, I am taking bookings for weddings up to a year in advance so I really do recommend that you book me as soon as you are able to. To book your wedding date all I require is a £500 booking fee and completed booking form and contract - the date is then yours.

HOW LONG IS THE TYPICAL COVERAGE FOR A WEDDING DAY?

I would say the average for my clients is around 8-12 hours, with the majority booking my full day package.

DO YOU EDIT THE PHOTOS?

Yes I do. I edit them in Photoshop and it normally takes me a good week or more to edit and curate your unique collection of images, which I then upload to your own password protected gallery on my website. I always aim to have this completed within 6-8 weeks and try to give you a sneak peek of your wedding within a few days.

HOW MANY PHOTOS WILL WE RECEIVE?

I take many images on the day, aiming to deliver between 500-1000 of the best, depending on wedding size. These are presented to you via your own password protected online gallery where your images are available for you to view and download and come with a copyright licence to allow you to print and share with family & friends.

WHAT IF IT RAINS ON MY WEDDING DAY?

No one wants it to rain on their wedding day but umbrellas and bad weather can make for some great photos! I always know the locations I am shooting and will be able to recommend the best areas to shoot at considering the weather.
